Jack Hegarty, Chief Executive at MHDC said "I'm really looking forward to officially getting started in to this new role. I've already had the pleasure of meeting a lot of staff, members and partners and this will continue over the coming weeks."

He continued "I will certainly bring in some new ideas, but am sure I'll also take ideas back to Wychavon as part of this sharing arrangement. I've said it before, but will say it again – I wholeheartedly understand both councils desire to find new shared efficient ways of working whilst preserving the unique identities of both councils and district areas. This will be critical to the success of this arrangement."
