Candidates encouraged to stand for elections
The local, parish and town council elections for Malvern Hills District Council are held every four years and there are plenty of seats up for grabs for budding new candidates.
This year the elections take place on the 7 May, the district elections have 38 seats available across 22 wards, and for town and parish council elections there are 408 seats available across 51 towns and parishes.

The role of a councillor is a very enjoyable and rewarding experience, and you can really make a difference within your community by supporting local residents and improving local areas, it's a fantastic opportunity"
Nomination papers must be completed and returned by hand to The Acting Returning Officer, Room F20, The Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern, WR14 3AF from 23 March until 4pm on 9 April.
