Outgoing SPDs

Newer style SPDs were introduced in 2004. These were adopted to support saved policies of the Malvern Hills District Local Plan so are no longer relevant as the South Worcestershire Development Plan is now the adopted plan. They are shown here for reference only.

Superseded SPDs and SPGs

The SPDs and SPGs listed below have been superseded as they related to the former Malvern Hills District Local Plan 1996-2011 which is now superseded by the South Worcestershire Development Plan. They are shown here for reference only.

The following SPDs have been superseded by the South Worcestershire Developer Contributions SPD, which was adopted on 20th October 2016:

  • Developer Contributions and Planning Obligations SPD (5 December 2006)
  • Education Contributions SPD (3 April 2007)  
  • Open Space SPD (5 August 2008)  

 

Affordable Housing SPG (June 2004)

The purpose of this document was to provide guidance on the implementation of the Council's affordable housing policies (for new housing development).

It has now been superseded by the South Worcestershire Affordable Housing SPD (2016).

 

North Site (Development Brief) (2004)

The purpose of this document was to provide the Council's broad planning and urban design requirements for the redevelopment of the former MoD North Site.
