All new application and variation to an existing Premise/Club Licence must go through a 28 day consultation period with the responsible authorities and the general public;

The responsible authorities are;

  • Primary Care Trust

If a member of the public wishes to make a representation to an application it must be by reason of one of the four licensable objectives which are;

  • Public Safety
  • Child Safety
  • Public Nuisance

New Premises Licence Applications

1. Callow End Playing Fields, Lower Ferry Lane, Callow End, Worcestershire.  An application for a new premises licence has been received by Callow End Playing Fields Association for the following licensable activities:

Performance of Live Music & Performance of Recorded Music (Indoors and Outdoors)

Saturday 12:00(noon) till 20:00

Sale of Alcohol (On & Off Premises)

Saturday 12:00(noon) till 20:00

The applicant has described the premises as follows:

"The playing fields comprise a football pitch, basket ball pitch, open grassed area, a mountain bike track, and a children's play area.  It has a brick pavillion with WCs, showers, kitchen etc.  there is a 40" steel security container for equipment.  The bar will be in a marquee, located in front of the pavillion and slightly to the East."

2. Earls Croome Village Hall, Village Hall, Church Lane, Earls Croome, Worcestershire, WR8 9DE. An application has been received by Earls Croome Village Hall Management Committee for the following licensable activities:

Exhibition of Films, Performance of Dance, Indoor Sporting Events, Performance of Plays, (indoors).  Performance of Live Music, Performance of Recorded Music, Anything of a Similar Description to the fore mentioned (indoors and outdoors).

On New Years Eve, Burns Night, Easter Saturday, May Day Saturday, Spring Bank Holiday Saturday & August Bank Holiday Saturday to extended the licensable hours by one hour till 01:00.

The applicant has described the premises as:

"A small village hall of wooden construction, built in the late 1930's and situated in the centre of Earls Croome. It is used by the local community for Parish Council meetings, WI meetings, church meetings, dance and music groups, childrens parties, village parties and all other community social events.  The building consists of one large room 6mx12m with a small recess containing disabled toilet and small storage room.  There are ladies and gents toilets and a small modern kitchen  There are small grassed areas to the front, side and rear of the property which are used by hirers if appropriate."
