New cashless and ticketless car parking systemMobile car parking

Malvern Hills District Council is introducing cashless and ticketless parking from April 2nd across all of their public car parks. This means that in all of the district’s public car parks customers will not have to find change for parking as they can pay by credit or debit card.   Using the system is easy – there are clear instructions on the location signs around the car parks.  Cash will still be accepted.

When you pay for your parking in this way, your vehicle details are synchronised with the patrolling enforcement officers’ hand-held computer in real-time. When the officer sees that you are not displaying a paper ticket or permit, they will use their computer to check that your vehicle has a valid stay attached to it.Parking sign

Using a cashless service is fast, convenient and easier to manage. You can also arrange your parking by telephone, SMS from your mobile, or online up to 7 days in advance using a MiPermit portal. For more information on how this works and to register please go on the internet to: https://secure.mipermit.com/malvern
