Audit of accounts

The Council’s External Auditors, Grant Thornton UK LLP of Enterprise House, 115 Edmund Street, Birmingham, West Midlands, B3 2HJ, have given notice that they have designated the 20th of June 2012 at 10am as the date on or after which local government electors for the Malvern Hills area may exercise their rights, under the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2011, to question the Auditor about or make objections to the Council’s accounts for the year ending 31 March 2012. The accounts and all documents relating to them may be inspected between 23rd May 2012 and 19th of June 2012 (inclusive) during normal office hours at the Worcestershire Hub in Malvern and also via the link below.

The Auditor must receive prior written notice of any proposed objection and the grounds on which it is to be made, and a copy of such a notice shall be sent at the same time to the Head of Finance and Resources, Malvern Hills District Council, Avenue Road, Malvern WR14 3AF.
