What next?

If you are still interested in becoming a district Councillor, you may stand as a member of a political party or as an independent Councillor.

If you are thinking of standing as a candidate for a particular political party you should get in touch with that party's local organisation.  Advice for independent candidates can be found at the Local Government Association's website.  Altenatively, candidate packs will be available from Electoral Services at the Council offices nearer to elections.

Many parties have a national website through which you can get information, and are listed in the telephone directory.  Otherwise please visit the register of political parties via the Electoral Commission's website.

While you are here please take some time to look at the Malvern Hills District Council website.  Much more information can be found which can you help you to make your decision, such as the work of the Council, Councillors, committee meeting agendas and minutes plus online services and topical information.
