Local Elections
Elections for District Council wards are due to take place on
5th May 2011. Please click on the following link for a list
of the person's nominated for each contested ward:

have been elected unopposed:

Postal/Proxy Votes
If you are going to be away on the 5th May you can apply for a
postal or proxy vote.
Applications for postal votes
must be received by 5pm on 14th April.
Postal ballot papers will then be despatched on the 18th April via
first class post.
Applications to vote by proxy
must be received by 5pm on 21st April.
Referendum
On the 5th May voters will be able to take part in the UK
wide referendum on the method of voting used to elect Members of
Parliament.
Leaflets are being distributed to all households by the
