Environmental Health

Environmental Health are responsible for a range of services, including:

• Food Safety - advice, investigation, inspection, licensing registration and infectious diseases
• Environmental Protection - includes noise, water supplies including the public water spouts in and around Malvern, air quality, contaminated land & drainage
• Health and Safety - advice, investigations and inspections
• Dog Warden - strays, lost dogs and fouling
• Pest Control - treatment of rats, mice, fleas, bedbugs, wasps and bees
• Licensing
• Training Courses

Please note: Environmental Health is now being administered by Worcestershire Regulatory Services. Telephone enquiries can be made via the Worcestershire Hub on 01905 822799. E-mail enquiries can be sent to wrsenquiries@worcsregservices.gov.uk. A Web site for the new regulatory authority will become available and a link provided to Malvern Hills District Council when they become available. With the exception of the announcement concerning the changed status of private sewers (as of 1st October 2011), information remaining on these Environmental Health pages is no longer being updated.

Scores on Doors

Malvern Hills District Council  along with the other Councils in Herefordshire and Worcestershire launched the 'Scores on the Doors' scheme on 28 January 2008 - a new system whereby restaurants, takeaways and food premises have been graded from 0 to 5 stars, following an inspection from the Environmental Health team.
