For the Malvern Hills Partnership
The Pickersleigh Areas of Highest Need project
is a three-year project primarily funded from the Local Area
Agreement reward grant. Its aim is to work in partnership to
increase ambition and aspiration of people living in Pickersleigh.
To improve life for communities by increasing confidence and skills
levels; reducing fuel poverty; and improving health. Key
areas of work include:

Improve Liveability |

Tackle crime, fear of crime and anti-social behaviour, as well as
improve the quality of the physical environment and provide
adequate access to leisure facilities for Pickersleigh
residents. |

Improve local public
services |
|
Bring services closer to people and make them more
personal. |

Transform
neighbourhoods |
|
Reconnect residents with the housing and job markets wherever
possible. |

Empower local people |
|
Enable local people to get involved and have a say on issues
affecting their local area so that people feel a real part of their
community. |
