    For the Malvern Hills Partnership

The Pickersleigh Areas of Highest Need project is a three-year project primarily funded from the Local Area Agreement reward grant.  Its aim is to work in partnership to increase ambition and aspiration of people living in Pickersleigh. To improve life for communities by increasing confidence and skills levels; reducing fuel poverty; and improving health.  Key areas of work include:

Improve Liveability   Tackle crime, fear of crime and anti-social behaviour, as well as improve the quality of the physical environment and provide adequate access to leisure facilities for Pickersleigh residents.

Improve local public services   Bring services closer to people and make them more personal.

Transform neighbourhoods         Reconnect residents with the housing and job markets wherever possible.

Empower local people   Enable local people to get involved and have a say on issues affecting their local area so that people feel a real part of their community.

If you are interested in becoming a Big Pickersleigh Project Community Champion, or would like to find out more about the project please contact Ruth Heywood on ruth.heywood@malvernhills.gov.uk
