Gas Lamps

A Gas LampWe have 109 gas lamps within the Council's boundaries.

  • 20 are owned by Malvern Town Council
  • 48 are owned by Malvern Wells Parish Council
  • 25 are owned by West Malvern Parish Council
  • 16 by Malvern Hills District Council.

All Malvern Hills District Council gas lamps fall within the grounds of:

Belle Vue Terrace Island - Great Malvern, and the The Priory Chuchyard, Great Malvern.

All other lamps are owned and maintained by the organisations mentioned above.

Street Lighting

Electric street lighting falls under the care of the Worcestershire County Council Highways.

You can report a street light that is faulty by completing the on line report form.

The electric lights in Priory Park are the responsibility of Malvern Hills District Council.
