Malvern Hills Adopted Local Plan 2006

Submitted list of Saved policies

The current Malvern Hills Local plan was adopted in July 2006 and its policies are automatically saved for three years until July 2009.  Local Planning Authorities are able to save their Local Plan policies beyond the three year period if they submit a list to the Government outlining the policies, their purpose, reasons why they should be saved and how or if they will eventually be replaced. They can also submit a list of policies that they no longer wish to save.

Two lists of Malvern Hills Local Plan policies to be saved / not saved have been submitted to the Government Office for the West Midlands on 30th December 2008 – see links below:

Following confirmation on the 9th July 2009, the Government Office for the West Midlands agreed to save our submitted list of policies. Policies not listed in the Government Office for the West Midlands letter will expire on the 11th July 2009 –see link below. All remaining saved policies should be read in context.
