Refuse and Recycling
Please note: we work all
bank holidays (except Christmas day and
Boxing day)
Did you know:
- you can now recycle yogurt pots
- all types of cardboard
- juice cartons
- aerosol canisters
- as well as tins, cans and plastic
bottles
- all your recycling can be mixed together in the cherry
sacks
The cherry coloured recycling sacks are collected
alongside your black sack, once a week, on your allotted collection
day, for more information please contact Customer Services. You
can collect extra cherry sacks from your local
library.
We have made it as easy as possible for you to recycle so
please recycle as much as you can. Our recycling rate is
currently 33% whislt this is good there is a lot more recycling
that needs to be done if we are to achieve the national
targets.
