Application by Tesco is Granted Planning Permission
subject to the applicant entering into a Legal
Agreement:
Following their meeting on the 7th
March 2012, the Northern Area Development Control committee
authorised the District Council’s Head of Planning, Economy and
Housing to GRANT planning permission for a retail foodstore on the
Cattle Market site, Teme Street, Tenbury Wells, in consultation
with Ward Councillors for Tenbury Wells. The planning permission is
subject to various planning conditions and the applicant entering
into a Section 106 Legal Agreement to secure financial
contributions towards local infrastructure improvements, including
public realm works in Teme Street, payment towards a Community
Transport Scheme, improvements and maintenance of the Riverside
Walk and junction improvements to the A4112/A456.

It is likely to take several months for the
legal agreement to be drafted and agreed between the applicant and
