Parking Fines

Parking fines will be issued for the following offences:

  • (A) The vehicle is parked in an area outside that set aside for vehicles
  • (B) The vehicle is of a class (ie: HGV) not permitted to use this parking space
  • (C) The vehicle has been parked for a period exceeding the maximum permitted period
  • (D) A valid ticket or permit has not been displayed
  • (E) The vehicle has overstayed the period for which the charge has been paid
  • (F) The vehicle is not licenced in accordance with the provisions of Section 1 of the Vehicles (Excise) Act 1971

You will be fined £30.00 payable within 7 days from the date of issue.
Non payment of this will result in a £60.00 invoice which will be sent to you.

Appeals

Appeal against a parking fine (Off Street)

You can appeal against your parking fine by completing the self service form above, by visiting the Malvern Hills Customer Service Centre or by telephone on 01684 862151.

Payment of Fines

You can pay your fine on-line

Or contact Customer Services to pay in person at one of our offices, or with a Debit card over the telephone.

Cheques and Postal orders should be made payable to MALVERN HILLS DISTRICT COUNCIL and CROSSED.

Payment of Invoices

These can be paid in the same way as fines or in addition can be paid in the following way.

At a Post Office
Present the invoice INTACT to the Post Office after completing the TEAR-OFF COUNTERFOIL. If you do not have a Girobank plc Account a fee is payable at the Post Office

At a Bank
By completing your bank's Giro credit slip quoting:

  • Invoice reference
  • Sort Code: 40-47-17 ( HSBC, Worcester Road Malvern)
  • Account Number: 02292777
