Jobcentre Plus is a free service, specifically designed to make your recruitment process run smoothly, whatever the scale. The services available to businesses include:
• Advertising vacancies through our touch screen system, website and telephone service
• Matching vacancies to people looking for work
• Providing a local contact to work in partnership with you to help you fill your vacancies
• Managing applications - applicants can either apply direct to you, or we can manage the process to ensure that you only see the most suitable candidates
• Use of our local office interview facilities where available, and administrative backup to help run effective recruitment campaigns
• Information about the local labour market
• Specialist help and advice on training, rates of pay, equal opportunities and employing people from overseas or with disabilities
• Work trial - you can try out prospective candidates for up to 15 days with a Work Trial, completely free and with no obligation on either side

Nextstep is a network of organisations which provide information and advice to adults about learning, training and work options. The service is available to individuals and employers alike. For businesses experiencing redundancies, Nextstep can offer support and counselling to help redundant employees retrain or find alternative employment.
