Property Service

The Property Service is managed by the Economic Regeneration Unit at Worcestershire County Council. Working with over 180 commercial property agents and landowners, the team maintains an extensive database of commercial property available across the whole of Worcestershire. Enquiries for premises are personally handled in a friendly manner and in total confidence or enquirers can search the database themselves via the above website.

Research and Intelligence Unit

The Research and Intelligence Unit provides economic research such as employment data, economic forecasting models and economic intelligence. The Unit also provides a corporate research and intelligence service, which includes research advice and the provision of intelligence about residents’ views and clients’ needs.

Trading Standards

Trading Standards provides a range of help and advice to both established businesses and people thinking of starting up a business. Free, one-to-one advice is available to help businesses understand legislation that applies to them. Other support available includes self-help leaflets; business start up packs; advice on scams; education and training; and calibration and testing services for businesses that buy or sell goods by weight, length or volume.

Conferences and Events

Conference Worcestershire is a free venue finding service ran by Worcestershire County Council. There are over 35 venues within the membership offering a wide selection of facilities from first class hotels to country house venues, to educational establishments and sporting stadiums, venues in the city and the more rural setting - something to suit all individual needs and tastes.
