Communications

The district is centrally located just 8 miles from the County Town of Worcester with excellent links to the wider West Midlands, Wales and South West. The good local transport network means that The Malvern’s are accessible for customers, suppliers and the workforce alike.

Road

The M5 provides quick and easy access to the Malvern’s when travelling south from Birmingham or north from Cheltenham, Gloucester and Bristol. The Malvern’s are just over two hours away from London via the M4 or M40 and the close proximity of the M42 to the East Midlands and M50 to South Wales means The Malvern’s are very accessible.

Rail

The Malvern’s are linked to Birmingham stations by an hourly service into Malvern Link and Great Malvern Stations and London Paddington can be reached regularly throughout the day in just over two hours.

Air

The nearest airport to the district is Birmingham International around 1 hours drive away. It is the UK’s fifth largest airport and a vital hub in the West Midlands economy. Its two terminals provide first class facilities for business and leisure travellers who can fly direct to more than 150 destinations. Bristol and Cardiff airports are also within easy reach and Heathrow is only 2 hours drive away.

Broadband

Access to Broadband is a key requirement for all modern businesses and the district now has ADSL Broadband available at all of the exchanges serving the district. This gives complete coverage to even the rural parts of the district and in particular enables greater working flexibility and supports home working.
