The Dog Warden service promotes responsible dog ownership and enforces dog related legislation. Lost, found, straying or dangerous dogs should be reported to us.

Our Dog Warden service:-

• Collects stray dogs and takes them to the kennels at the Worcester Animal Rescue Shelter
• Returns lost/stray dogs if they are wearing a collar and tag or are micro-chipped. If they are caught straying again they will be taken to the kennels
• Investigate dog barking or fouling complaints
• Educate dog owners who fail to clean up after their dogs
• Prosecute persistent offenders
• Provide free advice to the public on a range of dog related matters
• Investigate dog attacks and liaise with police and other agencies about the control of dangerous dogs

The Council responds to complaints concerning animal fouling. We also offers education to dog owners who fail to clean up after their dogs
