Private Water Supplies

An Officer from The Environment Team (Martin Peer) currently undertakes a programme of sampling private water supplies from springs and wells, reporting the results of the samples back to the owners of the supply when they become available. This work is prescribed under the Private Water Supplies Regulations.

Any person who would like to have their water supply assessed can arrange for this to be carried out by getting in touch with the Malvern Hills Customer Service and Contact Centre (see below). The only charge currently levied is that which is prescribed in the regulations, which includes the laboratory fee for the analysis (currently around £70 including VAT).
