Health Education and Promotions

• Participation in National and Local promotions and campaigns such as National No Smoking Day, the Active for Life Campaign and National Food Safety Week.
• Working together with other agencies such as health authorities and other local authorities to co-ordinate Promotions.
• Foodguard Award and Heartbeat Award are issued to food premises which attain high standards of hygiene, no smoking areas, staff training and in the case of the Heartbeat Award - healthy eating options on the menu.
