Spring Water

Public springs and spouts are regularly sampled monitored for bacterial and chemical contamination and the results of all monitoring are held within the department. As a general guide all water from these sources other than the Malvinah supply at Belle Vue Island (Great Malvern) should be boiled before being used as drinking water. The Malvinah source is the only supply which is filtered before emerging at the spout.
