Grounds maintenance

We undertake the maintenance of Parks, and Public Open Spaces at various locations throughout the District. This service covers Parks (Priory Park and Rose Bank Gardens), certain Car Parks, Highway Verges and  public open spaces. It also includes other Council Property and areas owned by others for which the Council has maintenance responsibility.

This includes:

• The cutting and maintenance of grassed areas
• Planting and maintenance of flower beds
• Planting and maintenance of shrubs, shrub beds and rose beds.
• Planting and maintenance of hedges
• The maintenance of aquatic areas
• The maintenance of sporting facilities.
• Sweeping and litter collection
