The licensing unit administers most of the licences that Malvern Hills District Council are responsible for. The majority of licences that we issue are to keep the public safe, and to avoid people suffering nuisance.

We also through partnerships think about more general matters like crime and disorder and town centre development. And we try and encourage business by the decisions that we make and the advice that we make freely available.

We work with local Police, the Fire Service, and all other Council departments. Our staff talk to licensing teams in other local authorities, both within South Worcestershire and nationally, to keep Malvern Hills towards the leading edge of licensing administration and enforcement.

We aim for continuous improvement in our service, and welcome suggestions from our customers.
