Malvern Hills District Council's Sport and Recreation Services provide a wide range of opportunities for members of the community to participate in sport and leisure activities.
To promote community involvement in sport and to develop the skill level of young people, the Council is involved in several programmes.
Programmes include:
(66.17 KB) (PESSCL)
(231.90 KB) Welcome to the first Malvern Hills Sports Directory
(712.87 KB).
Did you know there was a tennis club around the corner or an archery club down the road? Take a look inside to see where you can try your favourite sport today, tomorrow and for many years to come.
Supporting the Councils ‘Community Health and Wellbeing’ priority, the directory provides both residents and visitors with a one-stop reference point of information on local clubs and facilities within the district.
If you want to compete in London 2012, you first need a club. This directory could be the starting point for you achieving that Gold medal.

Health Promotion
Good health is fundamental to all our lives and leading a physically active life brings many benefits to our health and well being. The Governments national strategy for sport and physical activity ‘The Game Plan’ draws on and highlights alarming and truly shocking statistics that relate to the health of our nation.
Through a dedicated Physical Activity Plan specific to our district we will be delivering these national objectives locally. We will tackle a number of the key issues through education and opportunity and by offering skills and tools we are aiming to reach people of all abilities to improve their physical and psychological well being, taking action to safeguard health and prevent accident, illness and disease.
