<item><title>District Council helping schools to  reduce   reuse   recycle </title>
<description>As part of its key priority to  Manage Waste for a Better Environment  Malvern Hills District Council s recycling officer, Debra Parker, has been working with schools in the area to raise awareness of  Reduce   Reuse   Recycle.  Last week she led a workshop for Year 10 pupils at The Chase on  all things rubbish. Pupils learnt about the importance of reducing how much rubbish we send to landfill and the link between recycling and helping to reduce climate change. </description>

<item><title>Highway works are short term pain for long term gain</title>
<description>Highway works on the Lower Howsell Road and Worcester Road in Malvern Link has been described by Malvern Hills District Council as  Short term pain for long term gain.  Contractors are now two weeks into a six week project which, once completed, will improve the flow of traffic around Malvern Link, and provide access to North site, which is expected to include around 195 affordable homes. </description>
