The Early Intervention Family Support project is a new school based outreach project, which aims to respond to early indications that children and families could benefit from additional help. Your role will be to assist the Project Manager in the implementation of the Early Intervention Family Support plan. The role of the Family Support Worker will be to support parents of young children living within a catchment area with a range of behavioural and developmental issues that affect them. This will include working with fathers, young parents and other specific groups as identified by local need. Are you enthusiastic about working in the Early Years and Childcare Sector? Could you enable, support and encourage others to offer high quality provision? The Early Years and Childcare Service is seeking a suitably experienced person to support early years and childcare providers to engage in a variety of Quality Improvement processes. Alongside this role the appointee will use data to support, advise and monitor in order that services and funding can be targeted. As the role involves liaison with colleagues, both within the service and externally, excellent communication skills are necessary. Experience of IT systems and databases is required to allow accurate data to be collected, maintained and provided for reporting to internal and external departments.
