Welcome to Upton Library

The library is situated in a central position in the town, adjacent to a car park with disabled parking space. It is a small, friendly branch library, providing a full range of library services.

Membership is free to all who live, work or study in the county and entitles you to use all library services throughout the county of Worcestershire.

At Upton Library we can offer the following:-

Friendly and helpful staff.

Easy access. The library is all on one level.

3 Peoples' Network computer terminals with free internet access (booking recommended).

A quiet room for reading or studying.

A meeting room.

Exhibition wall space.

And of course:- Books, including a good selection of large print books for partially sighted readers, audio books, DVDs and jigsaws.

Citizens Advice Bureau hold a 'Drop-In' session every Friday between 10.00am and 12 noon.

Saturday 9.30 - 12.30

We also have various groups who meet regularly at the library:-

Readers Group -

Membership of the group is free and is open to everyone who enjoys talking about the books they have read. Meetings take place fortnightly, on alternate Monday afternoons at 2.00pm.

For our younger readers

Our Junior Library has a wide ranging stock and we welcome children and young people of all ages, from babies to teenagers.

Every Friday afternoon, from 2.15pm to 2.45pm., we have a 'Storytime' for children over 3 years of age. Please feel free to come along and join the fun.

The Junior Book Club meet on Monday, every fortnight, from 6.00pm - 7.00pm. For ages 7 - 12. Includes Books, Quizzes and a lot of fun.

Severn Sippers Coffee Morning

Come and join our 'Severn Slippers' for coffee and cake on the first Friday of every month (starting 7th November) 10.00am - 12.00 noon. All proceeds will be donated to charity.
