A map of how to get to the Library
Woodrow Library is in Woodrow Centre. It is easily accessible by public transport (57 & 58 buses) and has free parking in the car park behind Woodrow Centre.
The Adult section of the library has a good selection of fiction, large print and non-fiction books as well as a small local history and reference section.
Any titles not available here, can be reserved for a small charge.
We have free Internet access on the 4 People's Network terminals available for public use, offering a wide range of facilities, including word processing and the internet. Please note there is a booking system in operation for these machines. CD-RW and headphones can be purchase from the library for use with these PCs. We hold Silver and also Job Seeker IT sessions- times and days to suit borrow
The Junior library is well stocked with board books for babies, picture books and easy readers for children learning to read, and story books for older children.
Free internet access and word processing facilities are available within the Junior Library, to help children ( and their parents) with their homework projects. Children can receive 5 free photocopies or print-outs from the internet for homework topics.
During the school holidays, activities are arranged for children and they can also take part in the National Summer Reading Challenge. Children's activities,
