St Paul’s Boys’ School Cup-winning football team, 1931Educational Resources

Previously the collection was only accessible to a handful of determined scholars. We are now working with schools, adult learners and community groups to take the collection to as many people as possible.

Below are details of the outreach and education services available. The list will be updated as and when new packs become available. Education packs will be available in hardcopy and CDROM.  Please contact us for more information.

Talks & Visits

We are happy to come to your organisation to give a general talk about the project and the collection, and we can usually arrange to bring some of the original documents to display.

Small groups of up to ten people can be accommodated at the Record Office. Please contact us in advance.

Resources for Schools

Teacher training days, pupil research skills workshops and education packs supporting the curriculum (particularly for primary levels) will be available for the 2008/09 academic year.

Worcestershire Record Office already has a wide range of education packs for schools, covering different parishes, WWI and WWII, the Civil War and the Victorians. For more information about them, please visit the Record Office’s education service pages.

Other

Classes and packs to support adult education in local history and other topics are being developed.
