Civil Parking Enforcement

The Council made this Order when civil parking enforcement was introduced by Worcestershire County Council, a corresponding civil order was necessary for off-street parking places.

The Order

Malvern Hills District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) Order 2013 came into force on 12 November 2013.

Notice of Making

 
NOTICE is given that Malvern Hills District Council in exercise of its enabling powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has made the above-mentioned Order. The Order came into force on Monday 9 June 2014.
 
The effect of the Order is to make the following amendments to the Malvern Hills District Council (Off Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) Order 2013 ("the Principal Order"):
 
  • Geraldine Road WR14 3NT: increase the maximum waiting time from two hours to four hours between the hours of 00:00 – 18:00 and introduce a new tariff of £2.00 for up to four hours
  • Hanley Road WR8 0HY: reduce the tariff for HGVs from £10.00 to £7.00
  • Season tickets: Upton-upon-Severn season ticket holders be permitted to nominate New Street as their designated parking place
