The grant is also available to those businesses wishing to join the Worcestershire Approved Accommodation Scheme. This is an entry level scheme for tourism businesses wishing to get a basic cheaper accreditation.
For more in formation on this scheme contact Victoria Carmen on 0845 6411540.
The grant is paid on proof of accreditation. Contact Malcolm Salisbury on 01684 862483 for a grant application form.

New WelDest Project
MHDC have been asked to take part in the European funded WelDest project. The project centres around a destination "tool kit" that can be used to define a region as a health and well being destination.
The process involves undertaking development work with local spa centres who have agreed to support the project.
The outcomes of the Malvern work will be added to the overall European research programme which will be available in a report towards the end of 2014.
The work is aimed at developing a wider appreciation of the benefits of spa tourism and how that can play a role in the overall economy of an area.
