Children’s learn to ride a bike course returns
Children will soon be able to ride a bike when the popular Balanceability course returns.
The programme takes place on Thursday 16 March at The Hill Centre, Upton upon Severn, with two sessions available at 4.15pm and 5pm.
Balanceability is the UK’s first and only accredited learn to cycle programme, which involves a schedule of fun activities that build confidence, spatial awareness and balance skills, enabling young children to cycle without ever needing stabilisers.
Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and cost £5 per child, per session. The course is aimed at children four years and over, and bikes will be provided.
Rachel Vann, Physical Activity and Well-being Officer from Malvern Hills District Council said: “Our courses are a great opportunity for children to develop the skills and confidence needed to learn to ride a bike in a friendly, safe environment, but most importantly, children have good fun in the process”.
