Farmers market in Malvern
The best of local produce from the Malvern Hills District will be on sale again when the farmers’ market returns to Malvern.
The regular market, supported by Malvern Hills District Council will be open from 9am until 2pm along Abbey Road, Malvern on Saturday 18 February.
Stalls will be selling an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, bread, cakes, preserves and much more.
Simon Smith, Economic Development Manager from Malvern Hills District Council said: "Buying locally supports the local economy, reduces food miles and ensures you know where your food has come from. These markets also give customers a great opportunity to meet the producers and ask about how the product is grown or made”.
The farmers' market was formed in 2000 to support the growth and development of farmers' markets across Worcestershire. The group is a non-profit organisation run by farmers in partnership with local councils and market operators. Visit www.wfmg.co.uk for more information.
