Farmers’ market is full of flavour

If you're looking for food that is full of flavour, or you're tempted to try a delectable delicacy sourced from the Malvern Hills district, then come along to the farmers' market on Saturday 17 October, from 10am to 2pm.

Taking place in the regular Abbey Road location in Malvern, the market will showcase the finest producers and purveyors of food and drink from in and around the district and promises to pull in a hungry crowd.

Stalls at the market sell everything from fish, meat and hearty pies, to fresh fruit and vegetables, perfect puddings, plants and herbs, breads, cakes, jams and honey. And to complement the food you can always take home a bottle or two of local wine, cider or juice.

Councillor Phil Grove, the Leader of Malvern Hills District Council, said: "The farmers' market is always popular. It provides the perfect opportunity for people to speak directly to those producing and selling the food and find out exactly where it has come from. The market also helps to promote fresh food and healthy eating and it supports local businesses and the rural economy."

The regular farmers' market is supported by Malvern Hills District Council and takes place every third Saturday in the month.
