Farmers’ market returns

The first farmers market of 2017 kicks off in Malvern this weekend, with some of the area’s finest food and drink producers.

The regular market, supported by Malvern Hills District Council will be open from 9am until 2pm along Abbey Road, Great Malvern on Saturday 21 January.

Stalls at the market will be selling everything from fish and meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, puddings, cakes, jams, honey, and juices.

Simon Smith, Economic Development Manager from Malvern Hills District Council said: “We are really pleased to be supporting the farmers’ markets once again this year. The markets are a good way of promoting fresh food and healthy eating as well as supporting the growth and development of local businesses.
