Girl from Malvern all set to perform in world congress
A Malvern girl will soon be performing at the Dulcimer World Congress when it comes to the UK for the first time ever.
Grace Clifford, 13 and who attends Malvern St James School will be playing the hammered dulcimer instrument in a series of public concerts throughout the congress. They include the International Youth Dulcimer Celebration on 27 October 7.30 pm, and the final International Gala Concert on 29 October at 7pm.
The Dulcimer World Congress is taking place from the 26 to 29 October at Malvern St James School and is set to host a variety of new and old traditions on the Dulcimer including a youth celebration, a film with live music and a Grand Finale.
The Cimbalom World Association has been running Dulcimer World Congress for 24 years in locations around the world. For the first time the Congress is visiting the UK, featuring concerts by top class performers from 20 countries and four continents.
