Great Malvern Jazz Weekend
Malvern Hills is inviting everyone to swing on down to the town over Easter for the Great Malvern Jazz Weekend.
The Great Malvern Jazz Weekend takes place over Friday 3 and Saturday 4 April and will feature a score of fantastic jazz instrumentalists, singers and bands.
The music will take place at popular locations throughout the town, such as The Red Lion, Great Malvern Hotel, Belle Vue Delicatessen, Oliver's and The Foley Arms Hotel.
Robin Miller, the organiser of the jazz weekend, said: "This is a free weekend of the finest swing, modern and contemporary jazz from the region's best jazz musicians, taking place in the pubs, cafes, bars and open spaces around Great Malvern town centre. The atmosphere is always vibrant and fun and everyone who comes along will get to see some of the best and most diverse musicians in the country playing right on their doorstep."
Councillor Phil Grove, portfolio holder for economic development and tourism, said: "We hope to see plenty of people in town to enjoy this festival of free jazz music. We're really lucky to have such amazing artists playing in Malvern and we expect it to give a boost to our local retailers and to tourism in the town – and it's a great way for us to begin our Easter celebrations."
