Malvern Arts and Craft Market returns

The popular Malvern Arts and Craft Market staged by Malvern Hills District Council and Boffy Arts Markets is now is back for its seventh year.

Taking place at the market in Abbey Road in Malvern on Saturday 28 March, from 10am to 5pm, the market promises to offer a wide range of items from local designer makers, artisan food producers and purveyors of local fine produce.

The market is a showcase for local talent and aims to provide affordable opportunities for local artists to sell their work to the public. The markets feature a range of work including ceramics, glass, jewellery, paintings, sculpture, printmaking, textiles and photography.

Malcolm Salisbury, Economic Development Officer at Malvern Hills, said: "We have another diverse gathering of artists and exhibitors on display at the market and we look forward to seeing the town packed with residents and visitors all enjoying what's on offer."

In addition to the artists and exhibitors, there will also be live jazz music taking place on Belle Vue Island between 11am and 2pm.

Future Arts and Craft Market dates are 2 May, 25 May (Great Malvern Food Festival), 22 August, 3 October and 28 November (Great Malvern Christmas Festival).
