Meet Your Council event
Councillors are getting out and about in a bid to give residents and businesses more opportunity to have their say.
The final event of 2016 will be taking place on Monday 12 December, with councillors Anthony Warburton and Sarah Rouse meeting in the Alfrick and Leigh ward.
The ward includes the areas of Alfrick, Bransford, Doddenham, Knightwick, Leigh, Lulsley, and Suckley.
The programme was originally set up last year by Malvern Hills District Council and sees councillors and officers touring the district listening to any issues or concerns.
Since October 2015 there have been ten events throughout the Malvern Hills district, with over 150 visits to local residents. Malvern Hills District Council plan to roll out a further 12 by August 2017.
The programme has helped support many local businesses and community groups, by helping deliver more activities for the local community and donating ward budget monies to help them grow.
Cllr Phil Grove, Leader of Malvern Hills District Council said: “These events have been really successful and it has been great to see first-hand all the good work that goes on in the district with residents and businesses.
“These programmes help us to better understand and support our diverse communities and we really look forward to continuing with the programme next year”.
