New website makes life easier for residents
Malvern Hills District Council has launched a new look website that aims to make life easier for residents and businesses visiting the site.
The new site has been developed in conjunction with neighbouring councils Worcester City and Wychavon, with whom MHDC share an IT service, to keep the move cost effective.
The new site is faster, will auto size to work on mobiles, tablets and PCs, has a clearer homepage and a much bigger focus on tasks.
Cllr. Paul Swinburn, Deputy Leader of Malvern Hills District Council said "We're delighted with our new look site; it's really streamlined the homepage and made it easier for visitors to request services or report problems. The site makes much more of the online services that we're developing all the time. Where services can be automated and put online, we can both save money and speed up reporting. We're also pleased that the new site works across a whole host of devices – reflecting how people access the web these days."
The new site, which is at the same address: www.malvernhills.gov.uk, has already launched and visitors to the site are invited to give their feedback by e-mailing Nicola.Rawlings@malvernhills.gov.uk or by filling in an online form on the site.
