Park all day for £1 for Tour of Britain

To celebrate stage 4 of the Tour of Britain passing through Malvern and Upton, MHDC is offering spectators and visitors all day parking for just £1 to enable them to be part of the excitement of the race and then enjoy the celebrations of the day.

Cllr. Bronwen Behan, portfolio holder for environmental control said "We want to encourage as many spectators as possible to watch the Tour of Britain as it passes through Malvern and Upton and to give them the opportunity to enjoy all that is on offer during the course of the day. Our £1 day parking concession means that visitors can take as long as they want to soak up the atmosphere and really enjoy this exciting day."

The normal all day parking tariff is £3 which is one of the lowest all day parking rates in Worcestershire and surrounds. On 10 September when stage 4 passes through the two towns, anyone buying a normal £1 for up to 2 hour ticket on MHDC long stay car parks will be entitled to stay all day.
