Tenbury Mistletoe Festival gets set for world record
A Mistletoe Kissathon will be the special attraction at this year’s annual Mistletoe Festival in Tenbury.
The Tenbury Mistletoe Association will be attempting a Guinness World Record for the most kisses under a bunch of mistletoe in five hours.
The festival takes place on Saturday 3 December in Tenbury Wells, with activities starting from 11am until 4.30pm.
Malvern Hills District Council is supporting the event with a programme packed full of nationally acclaimed storytellers, poets, musicians, visual artists and street entertainers.
Activities include, a sparkling hour of winter fables and snowy stories, the annual Santa Parade, craft and produce stalls and the crowning of this year’s Mistletoe Queen.
The festival also includes an activity zone where you can make your own fairy light stars to wave at Santa with RHS Gold Medal winner, Victoria Westaway. There will also be a talent spotlight in collaboration with Tenbury Music Festival to discover young local musicians. Successful auditions will perform at Tenbury Music Festival on Saturday 17 June 2017.
