Through our Future Workforce Programme we are committed to helping businesses recruit and train staff with the skills the business needs to grow and develop. We also want to support people looking to start, or further their career, to make the right choices so they can achieve their goals.
In this section you will find information on funding available for businesses to support the recruitment and training of new staff, bursaries for candidates recruited to apprenticeship and training schemes and advice and support aimed at job seekers, parents/guardians and other trusted adults.

We have been given more than £283,000 from the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund to support a range of activities to boost skills, help businesses grow and support people into work.
- If you are a business you can apply for up to £2,000 to help with the cost of taking on a new apprentice or trainee
- If you are starting an apprenticeship, or thinking about starting one, you can claim £500
- If you are a new or existing apprentice you can get help with training costs
The UK Community Renewal Fund is a UK Government programme for 2021/22. This aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It invests in skills, community and place, local business, and supporting people into employment.
Malvern Hills District and Wychavon District Councils are running the scheme with Worcestershire County Council as the lead authority for the programme.
