We have been given more than £283,000 from the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund to support a range of activities to boost skills, help businesses grow and support people into work.

  • If you are a business you can apply for up to £2,000 to help with the cost of taking on a new apprentice or trainee
  • If you are starting an apprenticeship, or thinking about starting one, you can claim £500
  • If you are a new or existing apprentice you can get help with training costs

The UK Community Renewal Fund is a UK Government programme for 2021/22. This aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It invests in skills, community and place, local business, and supporting people into employment.

Malvern Hills District and Wychavon District Councils are running the scheme with Worcestershire County Council as the lead authority for the programme.
