Our popular Walk Fit programme aims to get people from the couch and gradually work up to walking briskly for 30 mins, 3 times a week over an 8 week programme.  

The Walk Fit programme is for anyone of any age and it’s designed for real beginners.  The course aims to help build your confidence, stamina, fitness and well-being.  Our style is social and informal so that everyone feels comfortable and supported with clear progression each week.  

Over the course of the 8 weeks our Physical Activity and Well Being Officer, Rachel Nicholls will fully support you. You will complete 3 /walks each week and Rachel will be on hand to provide free training, advice and support throughout.  You will also gain on-going support from each other, as well as have the opportunity to buddy up with other participants for your homework walks.

You MUST find out if there are available places FIRST.  You will then be sent a booking form which you MUST complete and return.  Your place will be confirmed as soon as we receive your competed booking form and payment.
