Bikeability learn to ride is a nationally accredited learn to ride programme as part of the national Bikeability Plus scheme. Malvern Hills District Council is now Bikeability accredited. The course is aimed at children aged 4+ years old who cannot ride bike. The course aims to develop a child's balance, co-ordination, gliding and stopping skills, ultimately achieving a key lifetime milestone - learning to ride a bike without stabilisers.
Most children master all the skills needed to learn to ride within one session, we therefore recommend that parents/guardians book their child onto one course in the first instance. If any further sessions are needed our Instructor can discuss these with you on an individual basis.
Cost £7.50 per child.
How to Book (Booking Essential)
All parents/guardians must:
- First check availability
- complete and return the booking form
- make payment to secure your child’s booking.
There are only eight places available on each course with a minimum of five children for the course to run. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Should a course need to be cancelled for any reason, then parents/guardians will be offered a full refund or opportunity to transfer onto a future course.
