A fun trail for the family will be coming to Malvern in July where animals will have escaped the Lockdown Zoo.

The Lockdown Zoo was created by Julie Thomas, a local graphic designer who first made George the Giraffe out of beads requested by her Grandson’s on the first day of lockdown. Over 200 animals have been made since then including birds, insects and mythological creatures.

A trail around Great Malvern, Barnard’s Green and Malvern Link will be available to follow during July and August leading to an exhibition of the Lockdown Zoo animals in Malvern Library. This will be part of the Summer Reading Challenge where there are more activities planned.
