We recognise the importance of volunteering and work to promote the benefits of volunteering, increase the number of people volunteering, and actively encourage good practice and support local organisations in the recruitment and management of volunteers.

The Malvern Hills Volunteering Forum takes place every six months and was established to give people and organisations who work with volunteers an opportunity to meet, network, collaborate and learn from each other.

Volunteering Opportunities

We are working closely with Community Action to develop a volunteer centre for the district, coming soon. In the meantime, if you are looking for opportunities in the local area, please visit the national DoIt.Life website.

Virtual Volunteer Fair 2022

We held our second Virtual Volunteer Fair in June 2022 and you can find all of the volunteering opportunities posted over on our Malvern Hills District Council Facebook page or by searching #MHDVolunteerFair on Facebook.

Disclaimer: The volunteer fair includes information on groups and organisations who offer volunteering opportunities in the district. Whilst any groups whose Facebook posts are reposted by Malvern Hills District Council, are part of the Malvern Hills District Volunteering Forum, they are not controlled by Malvern Hills District Council and should not be understood to be approved or endorsed by Malvern Hills District Council.

Youth Volunteering

If you are a young person, looking for volunteering opportunities for your age group, check out our volunteering guide on our youth webpage. This guide will be updated again in June 2022.
