Free advice available for landlords in Malvern Hills

Landlords are being given the opportunity to receive advice on a range of topics relating to the private rented sector at a free forum.

Malvern Hills District Council's first ever landlord forum will take place at the Council House, on Avenue Road, in Great Malvern from 4pm to 6pm on Tuesday 31 March.

The event will introduce landlords to some of the benefits that Malvern Hills Lettings, the council's social lettings service, can provide.

Guest speakers include the National Landlords Association and Act on Energy.

Council officers and a number of special guests will also share their expertise on mortgage products, as well as provide information on empty homes, new legislation and more.

Landlords will also get the chance to take part in a Q&A session at the end of the event.

Cllr Natalie McVey, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Health at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "This event provides a valuable insight into the housing sector and is a great opportunity to meet the team behind Malvern Hills Lettings. Landlords will have the chance to find out more about the advice and support on offer, as well as enjoy a number of informative talks from local experts."

Refreshments will be available from 3:30pm.

Joseph Wheldon, Housing Assistant, and Sarah Cook, Private Rented Accommodation Officer, from Malvern Hills District Council, will be speaking at the forum.
