Free event aims to help people live well for longer
The Living Well for Longer event will be held from 10am to 1pm on 10 October at The Regal Cinema in Tenbury Wells.
The free event has been organised by Malvern Hills District Council as part of Malvern Hills and Wychavon Wellbeing Week 2019 which will run from 7 to 13 October.
It will offer a variety of workshops, activities, blood pressure checks, as well as refreshments.
The timetable is as follows:
- 10am-1pm- Marketplace
- 11am-11:30am- Suicide Prevention Talk by Rachael Leslie, Consultant in Public Health
- 11:30am-12:30pm- Dementia Friends Session
- 12:30pm- Health Walk
Cllr Natalie McVey, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Health at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "As part of our commitment to improving people's health and wellbeing, we are keen to raise awareness of the support that is on offer within the Malvern Hills district.
